How can you measure your PR?
How can you measure your PR? ๐ง
Itโs not the most straightforward question (or answer!) as PR activity can often take a while to have a noticeable effect on your business. Itโs all down to consistency and perseverance. โจ
To ensure youโre on the right path, here are a few ways to gauge how well things are going:
๐Use trackable links - helps to see what your customer wants from you. Whether via your owned media such as newsletters or blogs or in articles and interviews, by using trackable links you can assess what your audience wants to see more of and tailor your PR efforts for better results.
๐Check your website traffic to see where new visitors are visiting from. You can then see which PR opps have led directly to new eyes on your biz / sales / clients.
๐Use Google analytics for a wider look at who is visiting, from where, and what theyโre looking at once theyโre on your page.
๐Always include your preferred social channel in your call to actions. If a writer is happy to include a link back to you and youโre trying to grow your Instagram page, ensure you supply that particular link.
๐Use Google Alerts to keep track of where your biz is being mentioned. Writers canโt always let you know when theyโve featured you, so track yourself.
