How can you measure your PR?

How can you measure your PR? ๐Ÿง

Itโ€™s not the most straightforward question (or answer!) as PR activity can often take a while to have a noticeable effect on your business. Itโ€™s all down to consistency and perseverance. โœจ

To ensure youโ€™re on the right path, here are a few ways to gauge how well things are going:

๐Ÿ“Use trackable links - helps to see what your customer wants from you. Whether via your owned media such as newsletters or blogs or in articles and interviews, by using trackable links you can assess what your audience wants to see more of and tailor your PR efforts for better results.

๐Ÿ“Check your website traffic to see where new visitors are visiting from. You can then see which PR opps have led directly to new eyes on your biz / sales / clients.

๐Ÿ“Use Google analytics for a wider look at who is visiting, from where, and what theyโ€™re looking at once theyโ€™re on your page.

๐Ÿ“Always include your preferred social channel in your call to actions. If a writer is happy to include a link back to you and youโ€™re trying to grow your Instagram page, ensure you supply that particular link.

๐Ÿ“Use Google Alerts to keep track of where your biz is being mentioned. Writers canโ€™t always let you know when theyโ€™ve featured you, so track yourself.
